HAPPY TAILS: LUIGI (LOUIE)!!!!Judy adopted Louie from HBR just over a year ago! As he celebrates his first Gotcha Day, we checked in with his new family to see how he is doing. This is their response: “Louie LOVES to eat everything !!! Unfortunately due to allergies and a sensitive stomach he now has to follow a special diet . It took many different types of food to find what worked best for him. Louie’s favorite toys are his rubber chicken and balls which he finds everywhere! He loves car rides, trips to the beach and going everywhere with his mama! Louie is such a clown dog ! Everything he does is funny ! His facial expressions, his actions and his loud grumbly noises . He bounces around like a kangaroo, he plays and runs and loves playing with other pups especially his puppy cousins!!! He’s developed into such a loving, mushy , happy little soul!! He just loves to be around his Hoomans at all times !!When Louie came to us as a foster , he was a sick little boy. He had extreme diarrhea, multiple sores on his body and was extremely underweight . He had been in diapers and a coat . He was extremely afraid to sleep and would fall asleep standing up with one eye open . He was terrified of the hose and of people . He would run at men and try to attack them. In time , Louie learned to play and trust again. It took many vet appointments, patience and love . We decided we couldn’t be without Louie and adopted him after 3 months . He needed us as much as we needed him.My advice to potential adopters is rescue , rescue , rescue!!!!”We are so happy to hear how great Louis is doing!!!
