Sweet momma River with her 2 pups – Rebel and Rubie. River came into HBR’s care just a short time ago and, surprise, she was pregnant! Via emergency c-section, River had four tiny puppies. Unfortunately we lost 2 smaller pups shortly after birth. We understand that these things happen despite everyone’s best efforts. Please send healing/positive vibes to River and foster mom, Ashley, who has remained a trooper throughout all of this. 
River is a wonderful mom, and like many mothers, is often forgetting to take care of her own needs. Thankful for Ashley, our vetting partners and supporters for ensuring River is well looked after.
